Not ONLY have I seen THREE AMIGOS recently, I also have most of the film committed to memory.

If I had any creative or communicative skills whatsoever, I would now try to work in a reference to the details involved in the differentiation between a "regular plane" and a "mail plane"...but alas, not only am I not that creative, but I don't have the balls to attempt such a feat.

Listen up, Tester, there are hundreds of us reading this blog, so get off your hi-horse and deal with the fact that you are web-famous. Super-famous, even. Infamous, actually, which means "more than famous", which you would know if you had watched The 3 Amigos recently.

And stop trying to get your friends to commit crimes on your behalf. That's so not cool.

Memo, I bet I know the exact poster you are talking about.

The left poster shows the blind camel, sitting on his ass, yanking his head back on the rope tied around his neck, as the rope runs off the side of the poster, and reappears on the right poster, as we see Dustin Hoffman pulling ferociously on the rope as Warren Beatty watches.

If you "were" to steal those posters, I wouldn't tell anyone, and we are the only ones who read these message boards anyway, so the fuzz would never be the wiser.

Danny boy... I haven't seen Ishtar since the 80's, but I remember liking it quite a bit, though the only scene I recall is when some hot girl all wrapped up in a turban shows her breasts to prove she's not a guy- a totally needless display of nudity, clearly placed to fill those empty theater seats. I think a lot of people have come around to admit it wasn't a bad film, it was just over-hyped and over-spent (whereas Howard the Duck WAS a bad film AND over-hyped and over-spent.) Anyway, I do want to watch it again now, so maybe I will, one of these days. In the meantime, let me just say that some of the film was shot here in NYC at Kaufman-Astoria studios, where I've been working these last few months- and they have this really cool 2-part poster of Ishtar the movie hanging in their fancy lobby. It's like 2 regular posters next to each other, each with half of the desert image. Pretty cool stuff, and I'd have stolen it for you, had I known your passion. Sorry.
